For starters, it's a lot of fun! Fun aside, ballroom dancing has so much more to offer than just a good time. Exercise, stress relief, self confidence, social poise and a creative outlet among the many benefits you can receive from dancing.

The cost depends on a number of factors: how good of a ballroom dancer you want to become, what dances you would like to learn, the number of days of the week you would like in your dance schedule, etc. Your first lesson is free. After your first lesson, your private instructor will be in a better position to recommend a program and you will have more knowledge to make an intelligent and informed choice.

We teach all social dances and more advanced dances as well. The dances we teach include salsa, cha-cha, tango, rumba, swing, foxtrot, hustle, waltz, samba, merengue, social, exhibition, ballroom, country western and many more.

Even if you have "two left feet" and "no rhythm", you can be taught to ballroom dance. You may find that all you have lacked was the knowledge not the ability.

At Candlelight Dance Club you will quickly establish confidence with the basic steps of dancing. Also, the longer you dance, the better you will become. As your ballroom dance education continues, you will engage in advanced steps and styling that will have you looking and feeling like the dancer you want to be!

We teach both! One of our instructors can fill in as the partner to any single. We also teach couples to move and learn together.

It is actually easy to learn to ballroom dance. It will take time to learn the various dances and repertoire of steps. However, the learning is easy and fun. A steady approach with periodic practice will produce visable results in a short period of time.

Nice-casual is fine, please no sweat pants or cut-offs. On your feet: Men should wear any shoes with leather bottoms. Women should wear any shoe that you would wear when you go out socially, heels or flats. *Sneakers or any shoe with rubber bottoms will stick to the floor and are not recommended.
